After what felt like the longest and most miserable January in recent memory, I found myself mentally worn out.
Fires in Los Angeles, cybertruck explosion in Vegas, a bomb and snow in New Orleans, snow on the beach in Florida, David Lynch dying, the tr**p inauguration, a n*zi salute AT the inauguration, the executive orders, the horrible American Airlines and Black Hawk plane crash, the tariffs on the nicest neighbors imaginable, the Karla-Sofia Gascon of it all… it’s been an exhausting month.
Naturally, it’s taken a toll on the mental health of many. Even my family, friends, and colleagues outside the U.S. are feeling it. But the beauty of the human spirit is that we will endure, and good will prevail over evil. Maybe that is corny to say, but I think it’s an important reminder for many right now.
Here are 38 movies you can watch right now to make yourself feel better.
Note: (I’ve vetted all movies and each have at least a 3.5+ star Five Dollar Tuesdays rating so… they’re good).
